Donald and Nancy Devorris held the winning Home Nursing Agency 2010 Mercedes Moment ticket. The winners have the option to choose the car, or a $30,000 cash prize. Don Devorris is also a Home Nursing Agency Affiliate Board Member. The highlight of the Agency’s Summer Party, hosted by Barry and Marlene Halbritter at the Laurel Lodge in Duncansville, was the 7 p.m. announcement of the winning three-digit number – 767.

“Thank you to everyone who purchased tickets for the Mercedes Moment fundraiser and Summer Party,” said Pam Seasoltz, Home Nursing Agency’s Director of Development. In its seventh consecutive year, the fundraiser is well known throughout the Agency's service area, sells out every year, and culminates with the Summer Party. With FOREVER Broadcasting personality K.C. O’Day serving as the MC, more than 200 sponsors and guests enjoyed an evening of friendship and entertainment.

“The Mercedes Moment/Summer Party is truly a community fundraiser that has an impact by keeping dollars close to home within the cities, towns and boroughs served by Home Nursing Agency,” said Seasoltz. "The Mercedes Moment supports the agency’s charitable foundation where dollars are awarded back to agency programs annually through a grants process.

Since 2005, the Foundation has awarded over $600,000 to agency programs and services, directly improving the lives of the patients we serve. Whether it is home care, hospice, adult day services, children’s behavioral health programs, pediatric private duty or the recently established Healing Patch, A Center for Loss and Hope for Children and Their Families, these dollars directly affect those who have entrusted the agency with their care.
